The Trap to film in Decatur, GA
David Rosinger’s short narrative The Trap is slated to film in Decatur, June 10-13. The story follows two young con artists as they attempt to scam an elderly couple. Writer-director Rosinger describes the plot as “part Poe, part Brothers Grimm.” Four actors will be cast in the film.
Open call auditions will be held Tuesday, April 2, 7-9 pm at the Dorsey Theatre, 3593 Clairmont Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30319. (Driving directions here.) Auditions will be a cold reading and no appointment is needed.
“All four parts are principal roles,” Rosinger said. “I’m looking for talent with experience in either theater or film.”
He has provided the following character breakdown:
Mildred, 55-70

Anna, 18-25
Petite, shy, attractive smile, C+ student, perfect attendance, usher at school plays, celebrity gossip expert, drops out of college freshman year to run away with Jerry. “That’s so sweet!”
